We had our 12 week appointment yesterday. They tried to listen to the heartbeat, but I'm still a little too early and my heartbeat was too strong and overpowering. I was also down 3 lbs. and the doctor told me that was fine as long as I didn't continue to lose. All of my vitals were good and that was the appointment.
I also called so I could make an appointment for early trimester screening. This will check for Downs Syndrome as well as some other possible birth defects. They will hopefully be able to get me in soon for that.
That is about everything. I will officially be 12 weeks on Saturday. Boy how the time has flown by.
