6 Months Old!!

I can hardly believe it myself, but Ray San is 6 months old. At his wellness visit, he was 10 lbs. 11 oz., 23.5" long and had a head circumference of 40.5". His length and head are almost caught up to the bottom of the chart for term babies now. It is amazing that our little boy has grown so much. Before we know it, he's going to be walking and carrying on conversations with us!

As I've mentioned before, he's sleeping through the night, he's discovered his hands, he's "talking" to us, he's awake a lot more during the day, he's pretty much out of his newborn clothes, we've been practicing sitting up and he's just all around turned into a little boy. Look at how big he is now!!

The Wait Is Over

Here are the pictures. They are all from other family members. I brought our camera to capture Ray San's first Christmas with the family and of course we didn't take any pictures. I'm SO lame.

Here is NYE and NYD

Here are just some random cute pictures of Ray SanNow for the exciting news. Christmas Eve we usually spend at my Auntie Kido and Uncle Carl's house. There furnace was broken so we were at Auntie Marcia and Uncle Gogo's house this year. We had a lovely dinner and and were going to open presents. We are all sitting around by the tree opening gifts. My cousins are at the table opening their gifts. All of a sudden Ray say fire!! We look over and there are two foot flames on the table. One of my cousins set their wrapping paper on top of a lit candle. I'm yelling water, Ray is running over with his unopened present and smashes it on top of the flame to smother it. One cousin was saying what do I do, what do I do while the other cousin was trying to blow it out like it was a birthday candle. My aunt was videotaping and puts down the camera and then she must have thought that she needs to tape it because she picks it back up and films it all. Here are when the flames are almost extinguished after Ray smothered them and the aftermath.

I know you all are anxiously awaiting some new pictures of Ray San because you just can't get enough of our little cutie... haha =]

Seriously, I will get new pictures up this weekend. I just wanted to do a quick post saying it is coming.

Ray San is doing fantastic. He's about 10.5 lbs now and continues to grow. He's eating at least 120 ml. (4 oz.) at every feeding, he's sleeping a solid 7 hours at night, he has discovered his hands and can't put them in his mouth enough, he's pretty much holding his head up on his own now; however, it is still a little wobbly, he's smiling all the time, but still doesn't smile back at you when you smile at him, he's definitely getting stronger lungs because his cry is getting progressively louder, he's in size 1 diapers although they are a little too big, the newborn ones are a little too small, he's almost out of newborn size clothing, his hair seems to be growing back, he's awake a lot more during the day, he's "talking" a lot more, he's practicing sitting up on his own and he will be 6 months old on January 16th!! He is growing way too fast for me =[
