Pictures Galore!!

Ray San is still eating 40 ml. every three hours. It is now just a gravity feed and not over 30 minutes. He's also attempting to feed by a bottle and has done that approximately 6 times over the last couple of days. He's getting closer to not needing a feeding tube anymore.

He is getting so big now too. He weighs 2170 grams (4 lbs. 12.8 oz.). Here are a bunch of pictures of our little man.

Look at how chunky his little legs are getting. Definitely no more chicken legs here.I really cannot get over how much we are loved. We truly are blessed to have such fantastic family and friends. On Saturday night, we had a co-ed baby shower with all of my karate friends. We were once again spoiled and received our baby carrier, a jumper, clothes, activity gym, handmade burp cloths and blankets and our COACH diaper bag. My friend Laura (her husband too) was the hostess and did such an amazing job. Here are a bunch of pictures from the night.

10 Weeks

Ray San has reached 10 weeks old and will be 35 weeks Saturday. They have made some major changes to him now too.

~ He is getting 40 ml. of milk over 30 minutes now.
~ He is no longer on caffeine. They are watching him closely though since we all know what happened when his caffeine level was low.
~ He is keeping his body temperature up.
~ His cannula pressure is down to .6

He is just progressing nicely. I'm not going to say that too loud though because I don't want him to hear and let us know he's still young by doing something bad.

He is up to 4 lbs. 6 oz. now too. He is getting so big!! Here is our big 10 week old boy =]

Look at his little arms up in the air... so funny!!

Check & Check

Ray San has reached 4 lbs. In fact, today he was 1905 (4 lbs. 2.2 oz.). Can you believe how big he is getting now?!? He's getting 36 ml. of my milk over an hour still. it is still fortified and he's also getting extra iron. I can't believe how fast he's growing lately.
Big naked baby!!
Check number two... he's out of the incubator!! He's been keeping his temp up too. It was so much easier to change his diaper today and it was so nice to be able to just pick him up and put him back as I wanted. He's such a big boy now =]

Ray San has range of motion exercises to do as well. He has to do bicycle kicks, high five and so big. He really hates the so big. Here's a little video of his nurse Jodelle showing me how to properly do each exercise. Listen to him cry when he has to do so big. It is so cute.

Ray finished the last of the stripes for Ray San's room tonight. Look at how straight and fantastic the wall looks. I'm excited to get the room together now. He still has to put the moulding on top and bottom, but it is really coming along.

Saturday was the baby shower for my dad's side of the family. My Auntie Kido & Auntie Marcia threw the party for me with help from my Auntie Dianne who is all the way in Boston. They went all out with a super cute safari theme. We were really spoiled and Ray San received numerous gifts. He got his car seat and stroller combo, highchair, bassinet, bathtub, baby monitor, lamp, crib bedding, musical mobile, clothes, embroidered bib, burp cloth & blanket, infant seat, sling, bibs and many other incredible gifts. Ray San was really showered by his wonderful family.

The cookies Auntie Marcia made & decorated by hand. No cookie cutters involved!!
