Well they tested Ray San and no pneumonia so that's good. He has more of an oral bacteria infection. The doctor said it should be gone in 2 days, 3 days tops. He's doing really well and they actually have him eating my milk again. The doctor said not to think of yesterday as a set back, just a speed bump. Once the infection is gone, he should be much better and they will attempt breathing on his own again. He is so close. When he is on the ventilator, all the numbers are so low that they were sure he was going to have no problems. Little did they know they are dealing with a stubborn little boy.
I feel much better today knowing that our little boy is fine.

- We were married on August 13, 2005 at Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Club. We currently reside in Federal Way, WA with our cat Karma. We were expecting our first child on November 1, 2008, but he decided to make his debut when he was only 25 weeks. We spent 102 long days on a NICU journey that was bumpy but incredible. We are home now enjoying life with Ray San!!

Yay, very happy to hear it's not pneumonia. They are taking really good care of him.
That's great news that it isn't pneumonia! Any infection sucks, but lung infections are so bad for such little babies.
